Graduate Profile
A graduate of Mary Help of Christians Academy is prepared to be a woman who is an intellectually competent, highly motivated independent thinker, with a strong knowledge of self, possessing religious convictions, and superior leadership abilities. She also has strong sense of her Salesian identity.
RELIGIOUS VALUES/SALESIAN IDENTITY
Is knowledgeable of the Scriptures and of the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church and can articulate her beliefs
Values the sacramental life, particularly that of Reconciliation and Eucharist, for a deep relationship with God and others
Participates in, contributes to, and serves her local worshipping community
Has the wisdom to live her faith at home, in the workplace, and in civic society, looking to Mary our Mother as model and help
Can identify her morals and values and make decisions within a Christian ethical framework
Is aware of the loving presence of God in her everyday life
Integrates the Salesian way of reason, religion and kindness in her rapport with others
INTELLECTUALLY COMPETENT
Possesses the fundamentals of language, mathematics, technology, the sciences, the humanities, and those specialized subject areas necessary for her college studies
