Fall is one of the most wonderful times of the year, especially for the Admission Department! It is during the fall that we get to visit elementary schools and talk with prospective students about what they are looking for in a high school. In turn, we get to brag about all that Mary Help has to offer for high school. We encourage young women to shadow at all the schools that they are interested in. We do this because we are confident that once they set foot on Mary Help’s campus, they’ll know it's the place for them.
Preview Day, offered on Friday, October 25th from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, is also a day we love to promote because it has proven to be ‘decision day’ for many of our guests. This special admissions event is unique to Mary Help. It is created with middle school girls in mind to see the Academy by sampling our course selections, enjoy special presentations from our student athletes and performers, and learn about the extracurriculars available to them.
Finally, we also have the privilege of hosting several Open Houses. Our next one will take place on Sunday, October 20th at 1pm. At these events we really get to highlight our offerings, but more importantly show off our wonderful community. Guest families continually comment on the fantastic rapport between our faculty and students. Even once the open house is over, they see it continue into the parking lot. In addition to the high academic standards, elaborate sports and club offerings, and our specialized internship program; Mary Help’s warm-hearted community is simply one that cannot be beat.
