The Salesian Voices Open for the Radio City Rockettes

Made up of talented singers in grades nine through twelve, The Salesian Voices is the competitive choir of Mary Help of Christians Academy. Under the guidance of Music Director Lucia Cardona, Voices first opened for The Rockettes in December 2015, an honor reserved for select groups chosen through a formal audition process. Those chosen are invited to take the Radio City stage as the Rockettes' official "opening act." This year, the ensemble presented a six-minute a capella arrangement of Christmas classics.

The Sounds of Christmas, is part of the world famous Christmas Spectacular, a tradition of song and dance dating back to the holiday season of 1933! Since its debut, the show has remained a holiday favorite for native New Yorkers and visiting tourists alike.
