Grand Opening: Mary’s Mini Mart
Welcome to our new school store: Mary’s Mini Mart! Students wanted to be able to buy snacks, drinks and spirit wear before and after school as well as lunch. We decided to move our school store to a more convenient location. In the process of moving the school store, we were able to redecorate and stock up on new spirit wear, and accessories! Our store hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 to 7:35 am, Lunch, and 2:40 to 3:30 pm.

Choir Sings on the Grand Stage!
On December X, 2018, the MHC Academy Choir performed Christmas carols before a full house at Radio City Music Hall. Music Director, Lucia Cardona led the choir before a full house that included students and parents who then stayed to watch the Christmas Spectacular. The choir was chosen from a pool of hundreds of applicants to perform after submitting a video for consideration back in September 2018. Congratulations to the choir for a job well done!

MHC Spring Musical • Disney’s The Little Mermaid!
Auditions were held in December for The Little Mermaid, which will be directed by Lucia Cardona, with music director by Warren Helms. Congratulations to the cast and crew!
Intramurals 2018 • Big Sis Little Sis
Our Big Sister-Little Sister classes enjoyed a day of activities and competition during our first Intramurals week of the school year. Students competed in volleyball, Can Jam, Chicken in the Hen House, Name that Tune, Tug-of-War and Penny-Wars to raise money for charity. Overall school spirit points were awarded to the class for sportsmanship, class decorations, and enthusiasm. In first place overall was the Senior Class, second place, the Freshman, third place, the Junior class and the Sophomores in fourth place. Congratulations to all! This year, the student body proudly collected over $1,200.00 in their Penny Wars to support Salesian Missions.
