Chapel Concerts is a series bringing world-class, local, and young talent to MHC Academy's brother school - Don Bosco Prep - with the goal of enriching the cultural lives of our students. MHC Academy music students have the opportunity to perform at these Chapel Concerts at Don Bosco.

 

Chapel Concerts provides a platform for professional-level training in the performing arts. Designed to build skill, artistry, and music literacy at a high level of competency, students have the chance to perform alongside distinguished musicians and faculty from major symphony orchestras, universities, and conservatories, as well as professional musicians from around the world.... some of the most celebrated names in music – from classical superstars to Broadway actors to acclaimed composers. For nearly 16 seasons, Chapel Concerts at Don Bosco Prep has hosted renowned artists such as the Grammy®-winning men’s a cappella group Chanticleer; Principal Trumpeter of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra Philip Smith; the Notre Dame Concert Band; The St. John’s University Gospel Choir; The Juilliard School’s Trombone Choir, under the direction of Principal New York Philharmonic Trombonist Joseph Alessi; the Rutgers’ University Glee Club; many Broadway artists, and many more.
